A popular community add-on that connects Blender to the AI assistant you already use, so it can create and edit objects, apply materials, run Blender Python and render views to check its work. It can pull Poly Haven, Sketchfab and Poly Pizza assets and generate models with Meshy, Tripo, Hunyuan3D or Hyper3D Rodin, either on your own API keys or through optional Premium plans from $10 a month that include generations. Not an official Blender Foundation project. The code tool runs arbitrary Python, so save first (an optional safe mode blocks risky scripts); content telemetry is opt-in, but a minimal anonymous usage record is sent unless you disable telemetry.
3D-Agent
A desktop app that sets up its own Blender extension and builds models, materials and whole scenes in your running Blender from a text prompt, so the result is ordinary editable geometry rather than a generated mesh blob; it can also make images and AI video. It's paid only, priced per prompt, and needs Blender 4.2+ on Windows or macOS; the Ultra plan adds a local MCP server so Claude Code, Cursor or Codex can hand it Blender tasks. Every plan includes a commercial licence, but the terms let the maker use your prompts and outputs to train and improve the service, and they promise no rights in anything the output resembles.
