Every claim has a source
Each listing links to the page we checked it against, usually the maker's own pricing or product page, and shows the date we checked. If a price or license changes, the listing is updated or removed.
We focus on what indie devs trip over
Verdicts call out the details that matter when you sell a game: whether the free tier allows commercial use, whether a tool trains on your data, and whether a feature is still experimental.
Sponsorship never buys a verdict
Tool makers can sponsor a placement. Sponsored spots are always labeled “Sponsored”, sit apart from the picks, and do not change any tool's verdict or ranking.
Who runs this
IndieBots is an independent project run by an indie game developer. Research and upkeep are done with help from AI agents, including Claude, which is also listed here; every listing still has to cite a source.
