Roblox Studio now has an MCP server built in: switch it on in the Assistant panel and an outside agent such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI can read and edit your scripts, run Luau, generate meshes and materials, insert Creator Store assets, and start a playtest that moves the character and clicks UI to check its work. It replaces Roblox's older standalone MCP server, which is no longer developed. It is a bridge, so costs and code rights come from the agent you connect, and Roblox's terms let it train on Studio prompts and outputs unless you change your data-sharing settings.
